About Torisaru

 

Founded in Tokyo in 2013, Torisaru is a one-man small brand from Jakarta focusing on illustrated merchandise, such as tote bags, t-shirts, greeting cards, mugs, etc.

 

Exclusively drawn by its owner, Triska Sarwono, Torisaru offers fun and witty illustrations, often inspired by pop culture references such as famous quotes, song lyrics, movies, and relatable internet jokes.

 

After Triska finished her study in Tokyo, she continued developing Torisaru in her good ol’ hometown Jakarta, while juggling as a full-time salaryman.

 

Torisaru has participated in various events both locally and internationally: Tokyo Design Festa, Home Couturier in Printemps Ginza, Popcon Asia, Jakarta Comic Con,

Jakarta Biennale, and so on.
